Activities for residents

Vale House has an activity co-ordinator who is an experienced and qualified member of staff; her role is to find appropriate activities for every individual.

We offer a family atmosphere and individual attention. This care includes residents’ social interests and relationships and also their religious and cultural needs (calling on outside help as necessary).

The daily routine is structured but not over-regulated, and designed to make our residents feel as safe and as comfortable as possible.

We foster the relaxed atmosphere by introducing ‘special occasions’ such as birthday celebrations, music sessions and visits from ‘Pets as Therapy’ when available.

Visiting by relatives and friends of residents is very much encouraged and you can telephone at any time.
